As a result of modernization of railway traffic control system and telecommunication systems, the trains could increase the speed to 160 km/h.
We replaced 19th century manual levers and 20th century electric and mechanical devices with the advanced computer system.
The project also included a Local Control Center in Bolesławiec with latest technology control panel. The work included four new switch towers and modernized traffic control devices at five train stations.
We installed new systems at A category highway rail crossings and pedestrian crossings with monitoring and remote control, and automatic signaling at B category crossings. We also installed optic transmission network and digital telephone exchanges.
