Intercity Road project is the largest infrastructural project in Upper Silesia. The Intercity Road will connect Katowice and Gliwice. The Ruda Śląska section was built by Skanska in 2006-2008. Two roadway road with six lanes runs from Chebzie in Ruda Śląska to Zabrze, near ul. Klary. The road runs parallel to ul. Zabrzańska and is connected with ul. Niedurnego and planned N-S route by a two-level junction. Six overpasses ensure safe drive through the city.
