Constructing the project
Educational facility of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the Łódż Univeristy is a six-storey object consisting of three intersecting oval bodies of various height. Monolithic frame system made of reinforced concrete constitutes its main supporting structure. Both the hall topped with a glass roof as well as 25-meter high atrium with cable-stayed bridges, stairs, gangways and detached "chimneys" containing lecture rooms risen in a few storeys constitute the central part of the building. The object is furnished with sprinkler, air-conditioning and central heating systems with fan-coils and utilizing ice water. The building is also equipped with structural cabling system and a dedicated installation feeding computer appliances.
