North by-pass of Lubliniec is a road connection which took over transit traffic between Opole and Częstochowa, relieving at the same time congestion in the town centre. We realized major road, category GP 1/2, 5,62 km in length with two road lanes, two interchanges and seven bridge facilities. The most spectacular part of the investment is the flyover situated at the Lubecko interchange. This seven-span, 280 m long facility ensures grade-separated entry to the north by-pass of Lubliniec from Opole and Bytom direction. Alongside the by-pass and on interchange connections we erected 4 km of acoustic screen panels. When dehydrating road embankments, we used leak-proof dewatering trenches and gates preventing hazardous substances from seeping into the soil.

The by-pass improved living conditions of the inhabitants of Lubliniec and increased road traffic safety. Thanks to the investment noise level and exhaust gas emission were decreased and local inhabitants gained quick, safe and grade-separated road connection which enables bypassing of the downtown. Assembly of acoustic screen panels allowed to decreased noise level generated by road traffic.
