Regional Informatics Centre at the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn is situated at the drive way to Olsztyn from Warsaw direction. The complex features total area of c.a. 8 000 square meters and cubic capacity of more than 45 000 cubic meters and houses modern workrooms and specialist teaching laboratories.
The building is composed of five objects with various number of stores each, connected internally by means of a glazed foyer. There are two three-storey objects, two one-storey lecture halls and one four-storey lecture hall. All the objects will have the capacity to house c.a. 1200 people at the same time. There are also 220 parking lots near the object.
Regional Informatics Centre as the centre of state-of-the-art IT technologies is a hallmark of the University in Olsztyn. Construction of specialist educational laboratories ensures access to national and world’s website resources for both students and scholars. Regional Informatics Centre will be used by two institutions: the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science and the Centre of Telecommunication and Computer Science Infrastructure Management.
