In 2011 Skanska Skanska completed reconstruction of the four span bridge over the Wislok river in Trzebownisko near Rzeszow. Bridge with total length of more than 85 metres is located within the county road no 1383 Trzebownisko – Łąka – Łukawiec. Bad technical condition, gaps on sidewalks and ruts on roads, railings with non standard height, platform destroyed by flood caused danger to users. For the whole period of reconstruction works the bridge was closed for users and all traffic was diverted on other routes.
Scope of works included demolition works of concrete deck panels on platform, supports and structural layers on the surface and road infrastructure on access roads. Within the contract Skanska executed sheet pilings, water insulation, drainage system and road works due to reconstruction of access roads. Skanska removed the alluvium and carried out river regulation.
After reconstruction lenght of the bridge remained the same but its width increased to 10 meters and it’s capacity to 40 tons (class B according to PN-85/S-10030). Bridge was equipped with combination railings spaced every 1 meter and also equipped with reflecting elements.
Completed investment improved the quality of communications, safety and comfort for it’s users.
