The viaducts we built over Agricola Park replaced old and worn-out structures from the 1970s. The new facilities are almost 400 meters long and wider than the previous ones. So-called “quiet asphalt” has been laid on both overpasses. The new viaducts have their load bearing capacity raised from Class D to Class A. They are twin reinforced concrete plate viaducts in a frame arrangement.
The Lazienkowska route is one of Warsaw's most important arteries. It is an expressway connecting the city center with the right bank of the capital. It was built in 1971-1974 as part of the downtown ring road. Thus, it has about 50 years of extremely intensive use behind it. According to the investor, the flyovers over Agricola were used by about 120,000 cars every day before the work began.
