The PHSC Porter Campus consists of multiple new buildings in east Pasco County. The campus features four stories built above the parking deck, equipped with an elevator to the indoor areas. The high-rise design is the first of its kind in Florida. It also is built with green design techniques and uses LED lighting and tanks that freeze and store chiller water for the air-conditioning system. The project includes construction of (10) classrooms, (8) biology labs & physical science labs, a chemistry lab, (4) computer labs, (4) science labs, an adult general education lab, nursing labs, business data processing labs and computer information technology labs. The new campus also includes physical education facilities, a full-service library and audio/visual facilities, auditorium/exhibition area, student services, offices, support services, conference center, 500-vehicle surface parking spaces and a new chiller plant. This project achieved 3 Green Globes Certification.
