Skanska is providing construction management services for the new, four-story, 74,000-SF, comprehensive rehabilitation facility, which will include inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation. The project includes demolition of an existing five-story, 50,000-SF building, demolition of an emergency transformer vault, and the relocation of an existing service road. The first story of the new facility will consist of surface parking and patient drop-off. The new facility will be a concrete structure and be constructed out of masonry and stucco. Spaces will include administrative offices, treatment suites, laboratories, gymnasiums, patient rooms, therapy rooms, day-dining areas and ancillary spaces. New and existing infrastructure will be connected to the main energy plant. Site work consists of a new central utility trench from the campus central energy plant, new asphalt surface parking lots, and landscaping to match the surrounding areas.
