Skanska realized modern dormitory for Poznan University of Medical Sciences. The scope of the investment included construction of the building with accompanying equipment. The building is composed of two bodies, one of which is a seven-storey one and the other is a one-storey facility.
The taller body houses „Karolek” dormitory intended for almost 300 students. Future doctors and nurses will have luxurious living conditions. The building is safeguarded by monitoring and access control systems. Students live in single or double rooms with bathrooms, equipped with telephone and internet connection. Each room is fully furnished and accompanied by a bathroom and a kitchenette. Moreover, the building house Office rooms, apartments, classrooms, television room and Chinese restaurant. One-storey facility is connected to the existing sports arena and indoor tennis courts. The arena features Physical Education Department of the Poznan University of Medical Sciences with a gym, fitness club, rehabilitation and cardio centers, weight room and rooms for teaching staff. In the dormitory, protected with monitoring and anti-burglar systems, there are also parking lots, bicycle storage area as well as laundry and drying room.
