Concept of the new school building
Wood and Forestry school in Garbatka-Letnisko is a modern school complex consisting of an educational and workshop area, a sports hall and a boarding school. The school includes 14 workshops, 2 large conference rooms and a boarding school with 45 residential units. The workshop area includes upholstery, carpentry, roofing and mechanical workshops.
School with style
The design of the façade is inspired by the wooden architecture style known as Nadświdrzański. This style is characteristic of holiday homes and has elements of Mazovian architecture. It is characterised by its light construction and richly decorated pavilions with stucco, sculptures and upholstery decorations. Thanks to the educational activities of the school, the heritage of wooden architecture in Poland will have its continuation in a new dimension and a new space for the school's headquarters.
