Skanska has received an assignment to build a Trade Park ‘Turawa’ in Opole in southwestern Poland. The order value amounts to PLN 153 M, or about SEK 385 M, which will be included in order bookings for the fourth quarter. The customer is the Helical Poland, the company which specialize in building of large format facilities and shopping centers.
The assignment is for constructing of trade and service center with 41 000 square meters of surface. The project consists of the construction of three shopping halls.
Contract will be completed within 12 months. In the next few days preparatory works for the investment will begin.
Skanska Poland, one of the largest construction companies in the Poland, had sales of SEK 7.6 billion in 2008. The company has about 5,200 employees. In Poland also Skanska Commercial Development and Skanska Infrastructure Development are active.
