iGaming experts will stay in Poznan. SOFTSWISS will move into a new office in Nowy Rynek E

Press release 7/12/2023 10:30 AM CET

iGaming is the fastest-growing technology sector [1],  and the international company SOFTSWISS* is a prime example of this. Its Poznan branch is hiring additional staff and renting a new office in building E of the Nowy Rynek complex. The company will occupy approximately 2,000 sqm of futureproof space equipped with technologies to reduce electricity and water consumption. The tenant was supported in the transaction process by the consulting company JLL.

NRE

SOFTSWISS is the leading software developer in the iGaming sphere with 15 years of experience. The company operates as an international software house and, thanks to continuous development, it’s opening new programming centers, creating jobs for IT specialists around the world.

In 2022, the company received the SIGMA Europe award in the "Workplace of the Year" category and the SIGMA CIS award in the "Best affiliate tracking software" category. In 2021, SOFTSWISS was honored with awards for "Best Customer Service Company of the Year" at the International Gaming Awards (IGA) and "Best Customer Service of the Year" at the Starlet Awards. SOFTSWISS employees were winners in the categories "Leadership", "Products and Innovation" and "Employee of the Year".

The hybrid work system works very well in SOFTSWISS. Specialists can choose how they want to work – at home or in the office. The company employs over 1,400 employees from various countries of Central and Eastern Europe, and the development center in Poznan, which will be further developed, already employs over 300 people. So far, the company has rented space from the operator of flexible offices – Business Link, belonging to the Skanska group. Now the tenant will move into building E of the Nowy Rynek complex, and the opening of the new office is scheduled for the end of September 2023.

– At the Skanska Group, we offer a variety of spaces that directly meet the needs of our current and future tenants. SOFTSWISS has previously used the Business Link space in the Poznan Maraton. However, over time and due to the dynamic development of the company, a decision was made to change. We are pleased that we continue to meet expectations, offering futureproof and sustainable places not only for work, but also for relaxation and integration – says Małgorzata Wojtoń, Senior Leasing Manager at Skanska’s commercial development business unit in CEE.

Increased importance of offices in company development

According to research conducted by the office company Skanska and Business Link, one in three Polish office workers is a supporter of the "office first" formula, i.e. working only at the company's headquarters. 48 percent prefer the hybrid model where work is split between home and office, while 17 percent only want to work remotely. These days, the office is perceived as a place not only to work, but above all to meet with other employees, strengthen bonds and identify with the company.

– Our company always tries to create the most comfortable conditions for its employees. Therefore, for the location of our branch we consider only those proposals that meet our requirements: convenient location, multi-functionality of the building, and the ability to create an inspiring space for your team where you want to reach new heights every day – says Maciej Wieczorek, Regional Director for Poland and Member of the Management Board at Merkeleon P Sp. z o. o.

The working environment is equally important. Employees appreciate spaces that have been created with their safety, comfort and respect for the natural environment in mind.

– The Nowy Rynek E office building is a high-class multifunctional building offering numerous innovative solutions, which are very important nowadays, especially for employees in the technology sector, represented by SOFTSWISS. We are convinced that the company's presence in this building will contribute to its dynamic development and will increase the comfort of work for SOFTSWISS employees. We are glad that we could actively participate in the process of negotiating the agreement – says Maciej Traczyk, Director at JLL.

Nowy Rynek E, located right next to the Poznań Główny railway station and designed by the JEMS Architekci studio, offers 28,500 sqm of office space built in accordance with ESG principles. There is an internal square with trees, greenery and landscaping. A fountain and brine graduation towers were also erected on premises.

The building is equipped with innovative technologies and solutions to significantly reduce carbon dioxide emissions. The office building uses gray water, which is water that has been used and can be reused, for example, for flushing toilets or watering flowers. LED lighting, along with its control system, can cut energy consumption in half. Equally important are facilities for building users, which facilitate the use of sustainable transport, e.g. by bicycle, scooter or other means of public transport. There are also charging stations for electric cars in the building.

The offices in the building meet the requirements of the most important industry certificates, e.g. LEED Platinum, WELL Core & Shell, WELL Health-Safety Rating and Building without Barriers.
