The P180 office building, which is being developed by Skanska next to the Wilanowska metro station in Warsaw, is gaining a new tenant. Netcompany has leased 6,000 sqm of space for its offices. The company provides digital transformation services for clients in both the public and private sectors. The opening of the new head office is planned for October 2022.
Construction of P180 began in September 2020. This 15-storey building, which will ultimately offer 32 000 sqm of top quality office space, has recently reached its target height. The distinguishing feature of Skanska’s Mokotów project, apart from space conducive to business development, is also an excellent location. The office building is being built just 180 steps from the Wilanowska metro station. Nearby, there are also numerous public transport stops and service points. The offices in P180 will meet the standards of the most demanding industry certificates, including LEED Platinum, WELL Core & Shell and WELL Health-Safety Rating.
P180’s futureproof offices will soon be used by employees of Netcompany, an IT service provider based in Copenhagen. The company was founded in 2000 and is present in 17 countries, employing over 6,500 people.
– Close cooperation within project teams is the foundation of Netcompany's organizational culture. The difficult time of the pandemic has shown us how important it is for our employees and their development to be able to exchange knowledge directly. We are meeting these expectations by creating a modern and tailored office space. Our employees will also appreciate all the amenities that the building will provide to its tenants. We are looking forward to this change – says Krzysztof Pierański, Country Managing Partner Poland at Netcompany.
– The era of offices is not over: they still play a key role in the strategy of many companies. They still remain an important place for employee integration and generating new ideas. This is confirmed by the research we have carried out, which has shown that Poles prefer the hybrid work model and working from the office at least 3-4 times a week. We are glad that Netcompany shares our view on the benefits of top quality, safe office spaces – says Tomasz Subocz, Leasing Manager at Skanska's commercial development business unit in CEE – We are sure that this new office space will help our tenant develop dynamically and expand operations on the Polish market – adds Tomasz Subocz.
Comfort and convenience for tenants, relief for the environment
P180 is a perfect example of Skanska's philosophy and the Swedish developer's approach to creating office space. This Warsaw investment ensures not only the safety of its users, but also provides solutions that reduce the building's impact on the natural environment. It is here, for the first time in Poland, that special concrete was used, the emissivity of which is on average 42% lower than that of ordinary concrete.
The P180 is also a tribute to cyclists and sustainable transport. There will be a total of one hundred parking spaces for bicycles in the office building. There is also a glazed bicycle room with an entrance on the ground floor and changing rooms with showers. All office employees will be able to use them.
The office building will be equipped with a platform for managing office buildings from a smartphone - Connected by Skanska. It offers virtual creation of "passes" for guests, recognition of license plates at the entrance to the underground garage, as well as flexible allocation of parking spaces. Thanks to this, the building will have solutions that will help follow safety rules, especially important during the pandemic.
